About Sarah
Sarah is a 2013 graduate of Delaware Law School. While in law school, Ms. Jones was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and participated in a study abroad program in Argentina. Prior to joining the Law Office of Gregory J. Pagano as an intern in 2011, Ms. Jones interned with the Cape May County Public Defender’s Office in New Jersey.
In 2011 she began interning for criminal defense attorney, Gregory J. Pagano. In 2013 she became an associate at The Law Office of Gregory J. Pagano. Since joining the firm as an attorney her practice has focused on family law matters and criminal defense in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Her family law practice has focused on a multitude of areas including custody, child support, divorce, grandparents’ rights, protection from abuse petitions and dependency court. Ms. Jones has represented both men and women from all walks of life in their family law matters in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
In addition to her family law practice, she has represented countless criminal defendants in Philadelphia and assisted Gregory J. Pagano in many cases both in the Court of Common Pleas and Federal Court. In 2024, Sarah successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
In 2015 Sarah Jones spoke at the Philadelphia VIP 2015 Awards Night at the Suzanne Roberts Theater about her pro bono work to obtain custody for a single mother of three children, one of whom had special needs. Additionally, Sarah has mentored many young law school students and college students, who have interned at The Law Office of Gregory J. Pagano. In 2022 Sarah participated in Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School’s “signing day” an event held by the school whereas businesses “draft” a Cristo Rey student to intern with them for a semester.
Sarah resides in Graduate Hospital neighborhood with her husband, a union electrician, who served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006 to 2011 and was deployed to Afghanistan during the Global War on Terror.
Over the past 11 years she has developed a deep understanding of the courtroom and the various issues the citizens of Philadelphia face in our legal system. Throughout her career she has been known as a fierce advocate for her clients inside the courtroom. Outside of the courtroom she is known for her compassion, diligence and ability to listen. If elected as a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge, she will serve the citizens of Philadelphia with a focus on fairness, integrity and compassion.
